Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishing and guiding Wordpress Multi-Site architecture;
Designing and implementing new features and functionality;
Working with various builders to create layouts (Beaver Builder, Bakery, etc)
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects
of installation
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a
working theme and plugins;
Working with other frameworks such as Laravel to create utilities
Manage Projects through Jira Ticketing systems;
Performs other duties as assigned by the manager
Managing technical aspects of site installations
Identifying and implementing process improvements for scalability and
performance
Integrating, configuring, and administering ad serving systems
Knowledge and Skills Required
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3,
JavaScript, jQuery;
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications;
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites;
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.;
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent
style across platforms and browsers;
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML
pages;
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML);
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git}};
Understanding of server architectures, and workingwith Apache, Nginx, and
Linux
Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, PHP, Java, ASP
Experience with database systems such as MSSQL or MySQL is a plus
Experience
2+years of experience in active Web Development
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
